I blame Dr De'Ath
« on: 04 June 2015, 09:57:48 PM »
After seeing Dr De'Ath's Sandport thread I have got hooked by 15 mm sci fi. So I thought I would dip in my toe and see how I go.
Only dipping my little toe at the moment so I ordered a couple of packets from critical mass

Just started painting the little f....kers

They are lovely little figures

Started some terrain pieces

Happy to take the blame and glad to see you've got the 15mm bug.

Good choice of figures to start with, they're going to make an interesting bunch of scum and villainy when they're done.

Looks like you've got the idea.  My painting advice is make those highlights pop so your little guys stand out nicely.  Your style may vary...  I like your terrain piece, I assume that connector or whatever at the base edge is intended to butt up against a building the dish is supposed to be wired to?

Careful, mate.
You could end up with some seriously dodgy company if you go down the route he took.

But......they're not 28mm!! :?

You do realise everything else we have is 28mm?

If you hadn't told me they were 15mm, from your photos I would have said 28mm!

....and BTW.....you do realise they're not 28mm?

Ahead lies the road to ruin ;)

Great stuff, a tidy start. At least Mark now has another friend :D

It's only a matter of time before we've all caught the 15mm sci-fi bug. Oh, you protest! But you'll join us, sooner or later... >:D

Oh, why blame these chaps for being scum and villainy when it is the evil Earth born lot that conquer the space ;)

Great start for a project, I'm sure you and Dr De'Ath will be blamed for dragging along many new people for the 15mm scifi soon :)
