Can't wait to see it after the flock treatment :)

Board is finally flocked. I added flock where I wanted to hide too heavy drybrushing. Should be more random than simply scatter the patches which always looks "too regular random".
Well, the green patches still look odd to me, but I have to keep the board mainly sand-textured to match the miniatures' bases.

Do you think I should drybrush all the green stuff with a light beige again?

Light wasn't that good today, but I hope the photos show how it looks like.
Next step is pouring the 2-part-epoxy-water, this is why I didn't flocked around the creek, the pond and the swamp yet.
I really don't want the capillar effect take place.

Looks great. ;D

Maybe dry brush the edges of the grass where it meets the  earth to blend it in a bit more?

Shame on me: I forgot to mention that my girlfriend planted most of the tufts and bushes. I think she did a good job as a wargames board gardener. :D

Just a little test shot with some of my SAGA miniatures. My Celtic (Viking) Warlord with his Gaesati (Berserks).
I think they fit in nicely, don't they?

Maybe a darken the creekbed (or even just the middle of the creekbed) a little before pouring the water? The only time any underwater features would be so bright white is with very, very shallow water. So it depends on if you want to give an impression of depth or not

Too late. :D
Just poured the water, wow, that was exciting!

First, the instruction of the Envirotex Lite is warning you all over the place what can go wrong.
So it is a good instruction, but not very comforting. ;)

Then, I had no idea how much water I would need. I planned to fill half the creekbed and fill it up with a second layer.
I had read much about too thick layers or the stuff becoming too hot. I mixed together 1/10 of a litre.

I wished the creek to have a slightly blue color and dipped in ONE drop of acrylic paint!
That was very close to "too much". Wow, this stuff takes color.

Finally, you take a deep breath when you pour that stuff onto your until then nice board, praying that it don't go horribly wrong.

Well, I utterly miscalculated the needed amount, but stayed a little bit short of being able to fill the whole creekbed. :/
I have to wait how much this shrinks and decide if I give it a very thin layer of clear resin over the top or just leave it as it is now.
As you can see, it turned out to be very blue, maybe a little too much, but this will mitigated by use of water effect to create a visible current.

But I think the new color really enhances the overall effect of the board.

I don't think it's to blue actually, looks still pretty natural! :)
