The Dale Wardens Post-Apocalyptic Gaming
« on: June 23, 2015, 07:34:28 PM »

Just a small batch of mutants for This Is Not A Test or something similar. I wasn't a fan of these guys for the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit, but think they'll do just fine in a post-apocalyptic game.

What systems are people playing these days for 28mm skirmish? Necromunda? TNT? Something else? I'd love some suggestions.

Cheers,
TDW

Some terrain elements recently finished. Looking forward to getting these on the table!

They make great mutants.

Looking great!

I agree, those guys don't say goblin to me. But as mutants, they're perfect.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Thanks much!

Rust technique is basically paint everything as normal with a brown wash, then stippling with an old beat up brush and some browns and oranges. I had GW Skrag Brown and Fire Dragon Bright on hand. I think having several colors stippled together is the key.

Sweet looking figs. Necromunda is still a fun game, as is Mordheim. Both of which can be adapted to whatever style of game you want to play. Dark Age and Punkapocalyptic games are both free as well, haven't played them but you cannot beat the price.
