Byelorussian nationalist army 1917- ?

Hello,

   did Byelorussia have any nationalist  military forces or army  fighting for any independent state  1917- ?

Yes-the armed forces of Lithuanian and Belorussian peoples republic.
 Many of the Belorussian soldiers of the above army at this time wore German uniforms, infantry service caps with white bands. Hussars carried lances with white/red/white pennants.
The western division wore"matseiyuski"caps but there is a lack of info available on many small details. In 1919 the Belorussian military commission ordered a new uniform with british style field grey caps still with German made/style uniforms.

You should check out"nationalist armies of the Russian civil war,1917-1922" by A.derybin. I have a English translation, its what I'm using for the above info. I have not seen any on sale for about four year. If you want more info just ask
