Plastic ECW Clubmen conversions
« on: June 30, 2015, 10:07:09 AM »
Converted from warlord plastics and various other bits. Some of the tools are scratch build. To swell my clubmen ranks.

Great looking conversions mikeland! Although the Warlord plastic Ecw infantry are not the best models in
the world, they have great potential for conversions.

I did some face swaps inspired by yours recently. It is interesting
how much much a face change, changes the whole character of the model.

Keep up the good work  :)

Westwaller.

Thanks Westwaller. Yes, the Warlord Plastic pike and Shotte sprues definitely have their limitations, I think partly its that they are quite old in plastic production terms  (7 years old), when you compare to what is being achieved by the likes of the Perry's on their recent plastic sets these feel quite dated, the same with the Warlord EIR.

I do really enjoy converting them and making something new from them but I honestly think I have run my course even with doing that on these infantry, I certainly can't see my self investing in any more once Ive used up what I have in stock. If I add any more units to my ECW armies they may well be Perry Metals.
