Looks good, I'd never seen the original...I like the chunky look.  Very space-explorer/salvage looking to me.

Am I the only one here who can see the potential of leaving the head off and having a martian sitting in a bubble-dome instead?

That would be very easy. The dome is separate and the arms and legs are poseable with a little chopping. I thought about going with a traditional brain in jar but I didn't have the right size clear dome..

Phase 1. Basic colours blocked in (army painter yellow spray primer). Next is tidying up and making it factory fresh before I get stuck in with rust and damage.

Like the colour, so far. Interested, how You will go on.

Bought a box, too. One as proxy for an Infinity Nomad-TAG, with the other I'm planning an opened robot within a maintenance rack. Lots of spaghetti-cabel comming out.
