Frostgrave Plastics
« on: July 13, 2015, 07:51:23 PM »
Hi
Received my Nickstarter packet today and built my first soldier:

Still experimenting with the base. GF9 snow is definitely different from the GW stuff I was using for the last decades..
Sorry it's only a white blob in the picture, will try to do better next time..

The plastics are great and oozing adventure/ fantasy character.
Quite different from AoS but that was to be expected.
I certainly am hooked :-)

Cheers

Christ, that was quick SP!  :o

I haven't even opened my box yet..

Nice and grubby, looks a proper adventuring sort.  :)

Very nice.  He's got a lot of character--looks exhausted, a bit desperate, but still determined.

love the muted colors you went with, it gives it a different tone along with the face of despair. How did you like using the snow? Im still unsure if i want add snow to the bases or i want to keep some of the minis for a cross over with dungeon type of adventures.

lol

You are always quick off the mark SP.
That's a nice build, and a moody paintjob  :)

I've had my box for a wee while, but just haven't had time to make a start on them.
I intend to mash them up with Perry parts for more Game of Thrones figures.
The components look nice. Kind of chunky, and closer in style to Fireforge / Gripping Beast than the Perry stuff, but I think they should mix well enough.

Looking forward to more of your builds.

I was already planning mixing them with Fireforge but I haven't considered Perry at all..great idea!!!
I will certainly giving it a go too :-)

I'm really looking forward to seeing yours Capt'n, I suppose we're in for a real eye candy!

Cheers
