You know Arthur, those (not pictured on this thread) Brits in their worn out looking clothing have got me hooked on this range! I just hope I have the time to paint them!

I'm trying a 'speed painting' technique (a new way) on some Iron Duke IM mini's and they're taking a while whilst I figure out my technique! Maybe I should have stuck to my old tried and tested manner of painting!?!?  o_o o_o o_o o_o

I will be unable to resist, and especially the sergeant dressing the lines. I remember painting my first Hinchliffe British figures back in the 80's and wondering then what the spontoon was used for. Great stuff.

The light infantry officers are pretty fab,  picked up the first two books in the Alain Lausard series by Richard Howard second hand...it has sparked off the urge to finally start collecting Napoleonic(you can see the man himself painted up in my thread).

May have to do a British army to face off against my French, my only gripe with Perry in this case is I wish they do more staff officers for the British! I love the variety of uniforms but not a fan of mounted models(dislike horses and even their bloody minis are a pain), so if the Perrys ever see this please keep up the good work and release some foot staff officers for the British!

It was about time. :)
I hope they do some metal infantry squirmishing/advancing instead of marching.
