Hi all, apologies if this is in the wrong part of the forum, still finding my feet here!

Can anyone suggest manufacturers I should check out for decent Paladin models? I'm putting together a band of repentant Oathbreaker NPC's for a D&D campaign I'm involved in and want a suitably mixed bag of characters. I'm really looking at finding an updated equivalent to the ancient Citadel Fighters box set from the eighties, something in that vein. I already have a few reaper models but want to mix it up...Suggestions?

Some of the Privateer Press Cygnar Warmachine models might work for you (the Sword Knights and Precursor Knights specifically), and there are a few in the Iron Kingdoms model range too (which you can often find lurking for cheap in many olny stores). The Protectorate range has a huge number of knights and paladins too. Note that Privateer Press do have a parts-ordering service that's excellent if you are in the US (and still excellent but pricey if you aren't), so you can just order one figure if you want.

If you are after quantity and more realistic scale, you could try looking at the Perry War of the Roses boxes, as well as Fireforge Games' offering. These between them should allow you to make just about any fighter, henchman, thug, or knight you could want to make - and all in plastic, and all pretty compatible. Might be too much of an investment for one or two models however.

Heresy Miniatures also have some fighters and paladins, are currently having a 25% sale.

Hasslefree Miniatures has a few good female paladin fighters too.

EM4, Forlorngames and Mirliton have some classic Grenedier sculpts if they fit with what you are doing,

and although the scale of some items may not be heroic to fit in with some of the Reaper stuff well, there's Ral Partha Europe as well.

Some actually date from the same time as the Citadel miniatures you have already mentioned

You can buy individual sprues from Perry Miniatures website and sometimes fireforge sprues pop up on ebay. A mix of HYW and WOTR perry plastics is fun; the Frostgrave plastic box is all the henchmen and bandits you will ever need and can mix with perry stuff. A look at the various Westeros threads here may tip you over the edge.

That said, you can't go far wrong with Otherworld if you want that absolute old school, straight out of Players Handbook vibe.
