What I painted in October (2008)
« on: 27 October 2008, 05:18:14 PM »
Since I won't get any more painting in this month... ;)

28mm Lucky Luke miniatures:

And a Weird War II zombie conversion:

40mm Saint Seiya Figures:

That's it. Not exceptional, not bad either.

The one in the dress really is a chick this time, right?  lol

Great work as usual, but are you getting earlier every month? Been away this weekend, so I still need to photograph this month's haul properly. Not that there is much of it this time, but it all counts towards something, presumably.

Yes, if you go to the corresponding post, all is explained. ;)

Won't have time to paint anything else, so for me the month is over.

And yes,it all counts towards reducing the lead pile. yes, I know it grows several times faster than the few figs that get painted in the same time. But it would grow even faster if we didn't paint anything, right? So we *are* making progress. No, really. All is well. :-I

All is well, Brother.  :-I

Finally got round to taking picsof the rrest of this month's bounty.

You've already seen Noticeably F.A.T.

And Captain Walsingham and Hugo

But I also finished three more adventurers, (right rough looking bastards they are too)

Two Pygmies

and Professor Henry Jones Senior (who I'm quite pleased with for a two-hour paintjob)

And that's yer lot this month. Probably be on a go slow again until the weather picks up and the loft isn't so cold anymore. So maybe July next year... ::)

I love Captain Walsingham and Hugo. Had somehow missed them the first time around (see, this thread is still useful).  :-*

3 1/2 white officers

10 czechs

two clumps of seafoam trees on cd bases.

not much within october but between 15th sept and now it's 33.

I have made good progress on my terrain and buildings nearly ready to paint, found putting poly filler on a challenge where there are window frames and door frames., need to paint up.

I got some pegasus russian farmhouses , ibzas and the big two storey house yesterday and made all five in an hour. just need to paint now.

so not bad all in all.

Great pictures. Really like the adventurers. Is that Billy Connolly? Fourth picture down on the left?
I know what you mean about the cold weather! I paint in my garrage and my heater is broken. I also struggle with good enough light for painting in this neck of the woods, by the time I get home from work it is already dark.

Good lighting is a problem. I really need to invest in a lamp with poseable arms and some daylight bulbs.

@ Matakishi: Nice.  :) Where is that hummer from? Is it a repainted toy one? It looks like a very clean cast if it isn't.

@ Argonor: Yes they are. I have hundreds of the little buggers. Great fun. I just wish you could buy them individually instead of in "horde" packs. Makes it difficult to build up units of troop types and you always get some left over. So you buy more to build another unit...

All is well...  :-I

Only VSF stuff, all needed to be completed for the game last week.
