Snap together tanks...
« on: 11 August 2015, 02:38:54 PM »
I'm after 1/72nd snap together tanks, early Stug, Pz.38T, Pz.II and III for Jerry. Valentine, Cruiser, Matilda for the goodies... does anyone make 'em?

???

I'm not aware of actual "snap-tite" kits, but Armorfast make a selection of WW2 tanks that are quite easy to assemble and shape up into reasonable representations. Not for the purists, though.

Hi Harry,

You can also try S-Model: again not snap together but low parts count and very easy to assemble.  They come two in a box with decals too.

Of your list you can get PzII PzIII, A13 Cruiser and a Matilda (II) is on the list.

Also lots of nice PzI variants and early French tanks  ::)

A good site to check out is 'http://henk.fox3000.com/index2.htm#section 19' for sprue shots and links to reviews to many 1/72 AFVs, including quick builds

Happy hunting

Graham

PSC makes 38T in a combo box, and Minairons make a nice Panzer 1 plus variants, also 3 in a box IIRC. Both are sold at PSC, and he sells S-models as well.

Hello,

early German tanks: First to Fight (expect the StuG), SU and the T38 look for Pegasus Hobbies. Some more are Minirons (SCW) and Plastic Soldier Company. Anything you need is available as a snapkit in 1/72 / 20mm.

Yours, Sebastian
