I don't think the random activation will be too much of an issue if its closely linked to how the opponent is playing; ie noisy approach = big chance of being spotted, stealthy approach = less chance. Its just a different type of game. I'm looking forward to it coming out.

And if you don't like it, changing the activation system should be easy, right?

I think we should wait until we have seen the rules. I am not a huge fan of ospreys politic of giving copies to few people and fire this pool of rumours. First the book was annouced for September, now it is October. Sad for the normal customers. Maybe Osprey can re-think this politic.
I'm pretty certain that Dalcor was commenting on Fistful of Kung Fu. But I could be wrong.

Nope, AFOK does not have random activation. Black Ops has, as per review in WSS has based upon card-draw system.

The stealth missions were always my favorite ones in Necromunda, so I'm really stoked to get these rules as soon as possible.  The upshot of the long wait time is the chance to get a few more troops painted up and add some more scatter terrain to the tabletop before the rules get here.  Still need more vehicles, planter boxes, benches, and other doo-dads for the urban table.

At Spiel Osprey told me it would be a November release. And they didn't had them for sale of course.

I've just ordered my set from Northstar. They've got a 20% discount on them at the moment.  ;)

Amazon is still reporting delivery between Oct. 23 and 29 for the pre-order.  Don't know how much that means, though.

Yes, I just checked my Amazon preorder and it's still listed for 20 Oct release. Along with Osprey's Bug Hunt.

I ordered it from Book Depository yesterday & they've said it is on its way. Granted, that's from UK to Australia, so they could cheat a little & I'd never know.

I think that was me you spoke to, and I'm afraid that was entirely my error - it IS an October release, and will be out imminently. Put my mistake down to Spiel Fatigue!

Sorry!
