No sweat! I can imagine how hard an event like Spiel can be. And an October release sounds better 8)

My "Black Ops" book arrived today from the BookDepository. Initial quick scan of the book looks very promising, I'll have to get my SAS painted asap.

My initial reaction is that it will be a lot of fun to play,  which is a definite winner for me. I've played a lot of systems where the attempt to recreate or simulate can sometimes detract from the fun factor. The stealth rules are not unlike ones we developed in house for our ACW campaign so I've no issue with them taking control away from players. If you go in loud you'll get rumbled early and full control reverts to the defender. I can't wait to get a game in.

Got my copy just now....64 pages, nice layout with art and colour pictures of games in play. Cannot say anything about the rules, but it does say its works fine with Solo too... I know more when I`m reading them...

I also ordered it, finally. I wanted to fill a gap in my rulesets for modern special forces actions, but also to see if it could fit my needs of rules mechanics for Shadowrun. I already own Shadorwun RPG book (3rd edition), and I wanted to "paste" some miniature gaming rules on it...Maybe Black ops will do it  8)

My book has been shipped this morning from Book depository.

My pre-order from Amazon is 'Out for Delivery'.   Now if the darned UPS driver would go a bit quicker....

How high tech does this game go? Somebody mentioned wanting to try and use it for shadowrun, I'm curious if things like mini-drones are included.
