Hacking could be used for several scenarios :

wire a room in a stealth mission;
use a optical fiber in a room to reveal people in it;

etc...

That's how I plan to use it, at least  ;)

And:
*Hack some security robots to take control of them.
*Disable the alarms
*Disable enemy camouflage
Many options!

*Disable enemy camouflage

Good idea.

I understand Dalcor's point of view. Tho I only play just for the fun of it and don't care about tournaments, minmaxing, super combos, etc or even winning, I used to like when things were balanced or clear.
But I decided I wouldn't care at all for Black Ops. Not to mention that in the end dice throws aren't balanced.

I have played a first game with Dalcor tonight. It was really very nice game. I like it.
I have some list building questions:
I would like to play secret agency list based on disguised agents. My question is, how is it with squad upgrades? Will I pay 4 points for each of my agents or for 3-4 (seriously?!) agents. You know, I'm not building a squad, more like cell of independent operatives coordinated from the outside (like the beginning of Mission Impossible 1 - massacre included probably).
Thanks. It's quite major difference to pay 4 or 16 points for four agents.

Squads upgrades are for the whole squad tho the number of minis may vary. Half the costs for characters (queens, kings and aces I believe).

Right. So if I have 5 agents, I pay 4 points and all of them are disguised. Then I pay 2 extra for an ace and 2 extra for king. What about specialists? Do they have access to the upgrades?

Yesterday we were just very much surprised that Observation roll should be known as camouflage roll as model observed is rolling the dices, not the one who observes... thats unusual ;-)

Just bought the rules from FLGS, can't wait to give it a read. Hopefully I can use them for some Pulp action in BoB setting :)

Sorry, I'm just back from a weekend's holiday and busy week at work! I'm also busy preparing for a Black Ops demo at Crisis 2015, so i may get back and answer more completely on Monday or Tuesday next week.

We only had so much space in the book so some areas were inevitably quickly covered. I thought all the 'specials' were best included if lightly covered, I'm happy to give clarification where required. There will be an errata sheet in the next few weeks or so - I'm actually seeing what you guys say before I complete it!  ;)

Thanks,

Guy

Hello, same as Frostgrave I went through pages of this thread looking for questions and answers and also questions without answers, including the Errata. Please consider them as hight unofficial unless Guy says otherwise. Only Guy´s answers are taken into consideration in this list as he is the ONE behind the rules . I have included some of my own questions which were not in this forum before. If I miss some of yours from here, please let me know I will update the list.

So here is link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2_A_uc_n_u7M3pmMUJfYXpTeW8/view?usp=sharing

And here are unanswered questions from Page 6 to page 10.

Q:Two handed in the list of weapon attributes seems to be undefined...? (page 21: Melee Weapons, Notes on Bayonet for example, not explained on the Page 20 Table Weapon Special Ability)

Q: Model A is in Reserve. Model B activates, choosing to Cautious Advance + Fire at Model A, but this puts him within line of sight of Model A. If Model A wants to fire at B as well, what order is the shooting resolved in?

Q: Is there any range for Allure and Intimidation or is it LOS ?

Q: Does Stealth Camouflage confer some sort of invisibility/invulnerability or can you reveal it to shoot at the model before it becomes hidden again? Not sure that makes any sense...

Q: If a mission says use up to 6 Blinds and I only have 3 groups of guys, can I put 3 blank Blinds down to confuse my opponent?

Q: If I deploy forces as Blinds, can they cautious move around before revealing? And if so, what card do they activate on?

Q:Is changing a weapon a major or minor action?

Q:What is the practical difference between silent and suppressed weapons?

Q:Does a falling body generate noise- if so how much?

Q:Does point cost of Militia Ace should be 8 ½ (Veteran 6, Ace 2, Leader 1, +1DED - ½  )

Q:Could be aerial deplyment be delayed? So the HALO troopers came in Turn2?

Q: how is it with squad upgrades? Will I pay 4 points for each of my agents or for 3-4 agents. How many points will cost same squad upgrade if I field only two or one Jack agents

Q: Specialist seems only as non-military staff as they have no armor upgrade possibility,  right?

Q: There are no point-buy rules for kings – when soldier becames heavy, as some heavy weapons are available to soldiers to.

Q: Can I activate Blinds or do the miniatures represented by the blinds just exist in that space until revealed? How many figures can be represented by one blind?
