A set of plastic girls would certainly fill a gap in the market...  ;)

Really looking forward to this new cultist set. I think it's a super smart move and people will snap 'em up for all kinds of periods and genres. Plastic is ace too. Roll on November!

Although the Frostgrave plastics are a bit on the expensive side as plastics go these days, a set with lots of character and possibilities for customization will probably 'go like warm bread' if you'll allow me a 'Danism'.

I suppose it's all a matter of perspective.  I defected to Frostgrave from two decades of Games Workshop games after the treacherous blade of Age of Sigmar was thrust into my back.  Twenty multi-part, plastic miniatures for under $35 US seemed like a great deal.

I agree, female Soldiers would be great. We have a little schedule planned, and they aren't on it I'm sorry to say.

The Soldiers figures we have are quite 'bulked up' clothing wise, with additions of some female heads they could do for female adventurers I think.

The Wizard in plastic is also of not part of the schedule, but a great idea still.

There's a schedule?

Now you're just teasing Nick.  ;)

I was thinking that a metal female head on the current bodies would probably work just as well. So when are you releasing the female head pack then?

Very sad to hear these two things!  :(

I can understand on the wizards to some extent (although seeing the popularity of the GW plastic wizard set, I can't help but feel that yours would be wildly popular too), but I think that the female model sprue (maybe six bodies to a sprue, split between henchmen and cultists) is a missed opportunity. When I see the glowing customer comments that model ranges get for having female models at all, I always wonder why more companies don't offer a better mix of male and female figures in a variety of styles.

Just because they are not part of the schedule yet, doesn't mean that they might not be, some day...

I agree that the bulky nature of the Frostgrave plastic bodies, created by those layers of clothes, means that they should be able to double for female soldiers with the right heads.

Looking forward to the release of the cultists, and to seeing what else is in the schedule!

Good news Jiron - you don't actually have to sell your soul to get followers like the Lich Lord!

...all your wizard has to do is tear his own soul out of his body, murder his physical form, reanimated it as an undead corpse, and then shove his own soul back in!...thankfully, Thaw of the Lich Lord contains rules for doing just that! [Warning - miscasting this spell can lead to some rather severe side effects, also, it really hurts]

Some of the scenarios in Thaw of the Lich Lord call for 'Death Cultists' as NPC monsters, so players will want to have a few cultists on hand to play those games. Mainly though, the box set is to give players the option to have a a less reputable-looking group of soldiers to use in his warband.

Good thing the proprietary rights of the soul are taken care of  :D Wouldn't want any legal trouble to go with the general hassle of lichdom.

I got a necromancer for the last nickstarter, and have a deepseated adoration for liches (and a penchant for collecting them) in the general sense, so I am understandably very excited about this.

They look acceptable to me.

I reckon you would've done better to have a second box set of adventurers/mercenaries, to be honest. I guess with some head swaps and perhaps some other bits and pieces these could still serve as decent thugs.
I reckon they will sell lots of these ,first thing I thought of was necromunda cawdor
But there's still plenty of cultist uses.
