Yeah as ChaosChild says they work scale wise just requiring some work with the neck joints, covered up with green stuff if you have the skill, like scarfs or fur collars. To see medieval kitbashing at its finest and examples of hiding neck joints I'd recommend Captain Blood's westeros thread.

Not sure about the sergeants, but the Fireforge templars work pretty well. Exactly the same scale. The only issue is that the necks are incompatible so head swaps require a little work.

The most I've had to do with FF head swaps on FG bodies is to cut off and file down the neck join a bit, but I've only worked with the FF Teutonic infantry and only spliced on the head with the pot helmet and hood.

Thanks for the info. I've done some head green stuffing before, so will give this a go.
