Zest-it brush cleaner - a review
« on: August 13, 2015, 02:21:47 PM »
Don't know if this is the right forum for this, but I just posted a review of Zest-it Acrylic Brush Cleaner and Reviver on my blog: http://dawnofthelead.com/2015/08/13/zest-it-brush-cleaner-a-review/

In short: it's great stuff, and fully revived my nearly dead synthetic brush that was clogged up with old paint. Good value for money as well.

Here's the stuff on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zest-125ml-Acrylic-Cleaner-Reviver/dp/B00IG8XKW8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1439468027&sr=8-1&keywords=zest+it+acrylic

Sounds like the d-limonene stuff I've been talking about. Do us a favour and drop a bit of polystyrene sprue in, see what it does. ;)  :D

Good to know it can be used for brush rescue too (with impressive results) as well as scrubbing surfaces and making the place smell interesting.

After a bit of googling, it seems to be that stuff. I'll do the polystyrene test when I get home - I can even use an old miniature piece for your entertainment :D
