Fire Toads
« on: August 15, 2015, 07:40:02 PM »
Here are pics of some models I'm working on which will be the start of a fantasy range released from my new company Toad King Castings. I'm planning on a little kickstarter which would include the toads and another d&d critter. The toads will be cast in resin and the other critter will be cast in metal. I'm currently in talks with a uk caster to get the metal figures produced so things should be moving along soon, all being well.

Here are the new toads. The two smaller toads still need warts adding to their backs but I may mould these first so I can offer a smooth skinned version.

As I mentioned these will be joining my existing giant toad sculpted back in 2007. He was the only figure that remained with me when my Tengu Models ranges were sold.

Thanks for looking! Comments welcome!

Tasty! (Or, er...) The texture you already have on the smaller toads looks pretty great as it is. :)

Wow, I want to adopt some of those toadies!
They got some real character.  They look like they are hatching some dastardly evil plots to take over the world.
When they are available, I will be in line with money in hand.

Great to see back at the sculpting desk :) These frogs are lovely and I'm very looking forward to the D&D stuff you're planning.
