Stone Golem (or is it a Storm Golem?)
« on: August 22, 2015, 01:12:32 AM »
I did some heavy modifications to the Stormcast Eternal I got with a Whitedwarf. Nothing added just pieces chopped away. I got rid of that ridiculous blod angels headdress. Chopped away the sword at the belt and got rid of the cloth between the legs. I did some hacking at it with a blade too to give it a weathered look.
Here are the results.
Thanks for looking.

Wow, best use of one of those new figures that I've seen.

Thats a really good repurpose, and the hacks really help it along the way.

Nice work

Thanks for the comments. It almost makes me want to get more... If the price were better.

Looks great for Frostgrave.

Thanks for the comments. It almost makes me want to get more... If the price were better.

Actually right now they are very cheap on ebay. I came across five for £9.99 including P+P. £2 each sounds good to me.
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/
And for Ultra-modern Wargaming check out Hotel Zugando at http://ultramoderngaming.blogspot.co.uk/

Nice idea, I agree he'd be great as the Granite Golem for the campaign in frostgrave.

Well I did buy the enchanter and apprentice for frostgrave. Might look into the ebay solution, or even bits sellers.

I really like that. I can imagine a scenario where your warbands accidentally activate an ancient defense system and these guys come to life.
