SAGA Open Day Game

Here is the game I will be putting on for the Nunawading Wargames Association open day (29 Aug). This was a play-test of the layout and to put together some scenario ideas.

The scenario is a raid by Vikings against an Anglo-Dane settlement. Some Vikings will start on the beach and others will be aboard ship and landing on the jetty. The defenders start with some units off board with a die roll to bring them on. There are 11 victory points (6 x loot & 5 x buildings). The scenario of for the Vikings to grab the loot tokens and fire the buildings.

The ship doesn't have the oars attached as yet, but they'll be ready by the open day.
