Inspired! Lovely idea and a great use of a hubcap :)

That looks great, I especially like the effect the bamboo skewers create. It's a decent size for a dalek carrying saucer too. Nice work.

hahaha

Great use of found objects Eric, hope that is a "lost" cap from the side of the road and not brand new of the neighbours ;) I like the garden solar light top too.

I trust some nazis will be disgorged from it's bowels when it lands, giving your pulp investigators a rather nasty surprise.

Cheers

... a great use of a hubcap :)

I was going to say, "Well, if it was good enough for Ed Wood …," but I gather he actually used the Lindberg model kit.

A good start, and it must have taken a lot of patience to fit all those skewer parts.  I shall follow this with interest.
Back from the dead, almost.

I like it so far :).

I'm really curious to see how you paint it, as the bamboo skewers look like they'll be much more absorbent than the plastic. The plastic itself looks rather slippy, so the inclusion of any paint brands you use would be much appreciated :D

Looking good!

It's nice to see a flying saucer with some depth to it rather than the 'sleek and shiny but you can't stand up in it' versions.  :)
