I was introduced to Frostgrave a little over a week ago.  Since then I have started making terrain and have a few ideas for war bands.  Hopefully the image of the first building shows up

Finished up the wall with archway.

I finished the ruined building and added snow to it.  I several more ideas floating around and hope to start working on them soon.

Nice.

Any chance of a quick rundown of materials and techniques? I like comparing various methods and always looking to pick up some new tips and ideas.

Materials were as follows:

Base - 1/8 inch MDF cut to size
Bricks/Stone - 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch cork board
Arch - 1 inch insulation foam board
Pathway - thin plasticard cut to size
Glue - wood glue for everything but the snow. White Elmers glue for the snow
Paint - cheap paint from Walmart
Snow - bag of fine snow for Christmas displays from a craft store (they are starting even earlier this year)
Ground Cover - sand ballast and course train stone covered in a mixed foliage.

The 3/8 cork board measured out to be about 5mm thick so I cut the bricks depth to the same thickness and double the length 10mm.  The 1/2 cork was about 10mm thick so I cut the block the same depth and made them 20mm long. I used a spare door frame and window frame from a 4Ground kit on the building but everything else I created as I went along.

Thanks for the feedback.  I am not liking how the entry way came out so I may need to re-work it.  In the meantime here is what I am planning on using for treasure tokens.

Very cool ruins, nice icy effect on the snow.
