If it's a weird war setting why not let the Japanese into Africa?
Or perhaps go with Africa colours for north Australia?

You know I love everything about this model but its oversized engines, which I hate.

I see some picture of it and conclude they really are too big and I don't want it. Then I see pictures like yours and I think "that does look rather good, engines and all."

It's part of the LRDG Airborne, those big engines let it fly to Japan!

Sharp paint job, there's a compression to the dust air miniatures that I'm not a fan of, reckon the ground gear is on point though.

Love the model and the paint job, thanks for sharing :o) Inspiring work.

Does anyone know of any 15mm manufacturer/s that makes WWW2-esque aircraft? Not too bothered about the 'style', although it would have to fit in with my DP9 Mechs and Clockwork Goblin Minis..

I don't have a link, but I do know that there's a model on Shapeways of a Miles M.35 or M.39. Also, DP9 is putting the Gear Krieg minis back in production for October, which hopefully means the Luft Krieg minis as well.
