The wizard with a red hat is by Statuesque Miniatures Koyote. Fantastic model and a joy to paint.
Ahhh... That's where I saw it. Thanks.

My second warband is going to be a dwarven warband led by a human wizard. I want the minis to have a Rankin-Bass feel to them. The Statuesque wizard (and dwarves) certainly have that feel. I hope that Statuesque adds more fantasy minis to its model line.

It's not looking good on that front unfortunately. They were the most successful pre order set of figures Andrew's done, but since then they have hardly sold unfortunately.

That's too bad.

I just placed an order for all 6 of Statuesque's fantasy models, so I've done my part. :)

A question. Pavis-grave. Is this a reference to "Pavis" big rubble?
I should be painting right now.

That is so cool. I dug out my very old copies of Pavis. Had a trip down memory lane... I'm surprised I still have most, if not all, of the reference material.

I really love Glorantha. I never played Runequest, but I thought Frostgrave would be the ideal setting for small groups of Gloranthan miniatures. I think I may haveshared this before (and if I have, I apologize) but I thought it would be relevant to this topiv.

Here is my Morokanth (sp?) apprentice:

I have the Wizard in progress, and the warband willbe naked humans with clubs (better troops will need to be from another "animal" race later on.

Hi! I'm Harry. I am a hobby addict; I game sci-fi, fantasy, and historical (including Ancients, Dark Ages, Renaissance, and World War II Manchukuo.)

And here are my Gloranthan Ducks:

They were repurposed from a failed Brink of Battle project, and do not have quite the composition I would like
I have just ordered more to fine-tune this warband.
