Hello Guys.

I finally managed to finish my Sohei Buntai. I painted them two years ago and did the bases last week.

I'm really struggling to remember. Two years is a long time. But I think I mixed vallejo blood red with gold yellow for the basecoat. I added more gold yellow for the second and third layer. Maybe some additional white or elf skintone for the a fourth layer. But I'm not realy sure about that. You should use white primer for such bright colours. Blackys should have a much harder time.

I was actually regreting that I didn't paint them black.
Orange is the new black I guess .

The colours are nice and crisp. Yes I think you are good at oranges but I suspect other colours as well.

Why so long after painting them before finishing the bases, usually when I have painted something I can't wait to get it on the table for a game.
