Work in progress Mordheim/Frostgrave board
« on: September 29, 2015, 09:42:06 PM »
Got the chance to take some pics of my most ambitious hobby project so far; scratch building a Mordhiem and maybe Frostgrave board. There's still a lot of work left to do, but should get it done by Christmas!

Any ideas on how to improve them would be much appreciated.

Your terrain looks already very impressive! Thank you for sharing your work!
The only thing I would do is to add some details. E.g. Barrels, buckets, wagon wheels, broken amphora, lost toys. You could arrange them so that they help to tell a little story about the disappeared inhabitants of the City. Like in Pompeji.

Looking good so far  :)

Maybe some interior details to help break up the blankness of the interior walls?

cheers

They look fantastic so far!

As for suggestions, well a little "incidental" terrain like the others have suggested, and perhaps a few things like broken shop signs, overturned carts/stalls, etc. Basically, signs of the buildings' former use and occupants!

Thanks for the feedback chaps I'm gonna have to gather some more bits to bring it to life a bit, I'll try and do some more pics when I've painted it.

I think you have a great board going on there. I like that it is modular.

How do you intend to finish the large yellowish blocks of foam?
