Yes, that's sadly true. And it's exactly the reason why I didn't use any solvent based materials on those plastics which may start a reaction with the plastic. I think it's pretty sure working with acrylic undercoats and paints, at least in my experience.


Take care, not only the undercoat and paints can lead to this sweating out. My set of Zombicide season one turned completly non stick until I sprayed a dullcoat over it... Sheldon was sticky for a few months... First using a water based (polyurethane) varnish before applying the dullcoat solved the problem.
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

Same here, sticky Zombicide zombies, only I can't recall what varnishes I used on those.
probably Army Painter Antishine, VMC gloss and then Dullcoat from a bottle. (but I've got other stuff lying around, so could have been another recipe... :?)
