Ysanne Isard - called "Iceheart", the highest ranking agent of the galactic Empire - a little conversion of an Imperial officer from the Imperial Assault board game. The plastic miniature was newly proportioned and is less tall now, got her arms repositioned and received a resin head that was donated by Fenryll miniature.

Very good work indeed, I have all of those and play regularly with my son who loves it. Have promised myself I will begin to paint the minis. All that white on the Stormtroopers looks pretty daunting.

Looking forward to more if you have more  :)

I have...  :D

Two more Imperial officers - both slightly converted and in Imperial navy livery this time. The female got a resin head from Fenryll, but kept her hat and her silhouette got dry sculpted (carved) from the original body plus arms cut off, shortened and repositioned. The male got only his tunic shortened.

Happy new year to all of you!

I feel that it is time to resurrect this thread. I seem to have missed to post my latest Imperial Assault miniatures. I thought I did, but the search function does not lead me to any hits and this should not be.
So here are some pictures from 2016:

General Weiss in his experimental AT-ST, as well as another one for reinforcement.

A few rebel alliance naval soldiers.

Some more Imperial stormtroopers...

Imperial Sandtroopers to watch out for some droids with stolen plans.

And the total of my 2016 Imperial Assault output together:

2018 saw me rebasing all of the aforementioned miniatures on clear acrylic bases, because the floor tiles showed space station floors, snow and a lot more too meanwhile and the sculpted and painted bases looked odd to me.

Somehow I missed to post photos from my 2019 production too. Here they are:

Here is now what I finished in 2020 yet:

I don't think the bases look too bad in comparison to the earlier ones:

I wondered how to mark the bases for ELITE troopers and came to rubber bands. Thus the same miniature can be either ELITE or STANDARD.

How easy was the rebasing

Very easy, I cut them carefully off with a scalpel and repainted the edges of the soles where necessary. Cutting the AT-STs was a bit harder, because their feet were cast with the base.

Thanks!

I will nick some LEGION miniatures for the game, glue them to clear bases too and Bob is your uncle...

Second thread resurrection today:

I decided to re-organize my storage in the attic and ordered some boxes and foams by Feldherr these days. My Imperial Assault miniatures are subject to that move as well and I found out that a lot of the expansion models were left unpainted and forgotten somewhere in the dark. A new group of young gamers who are currently dipping their toes into the first adventures of Hero Quest (mastered by myself) are doomed to step into IA not too far in the future as well, because they are big Star Wars fans too. I feel this is something that has to be supported of course and thought it would be better to paint the miniatures in time to have them ready when it's due.
So here are two Wampas and two Nexus for challenging encounters in the wilderness of a galaxy far far away...  :D
