More Imperial Assault in 2025
« Reply #92 on: 09 January 2025, 12:18:34 PM »

Last year saw me painting Jarrod Kelvin, a droid engineer from Coruscant (the man on the left in the photo above).
He comes with a sidekick droid called J4X-7 or "Jax". Jax is not present as a miniature in the game, but as a cardboard marker. This substitution is common for all minaitures used in scenarios without the matching model. However, every other miniature was available to replace those markers. Jax was never...I found an STL file and had it printed in resin last year. Now it's painted along with a couple of other heroes (player characters) for the game:

From left to right: Onar Koma, an arachnoid bodyguard, CT-1701, a clone warrior still active after his best-before-date, J4X-7, Jarrod Kelvin's sidekick and finally MHD-19, one of those medic-droids first seen in "The Empire strikes back".

Totally off topic -

but I used to work for a man we called 3TFO - every time someone asked for a price increase he used to say "Tell them to F Off"

I have finally painted the last of the player's characters for Imperial Assault: Vinto Hreeda, a fearless Rodian avenger and Murne Rin, an Ithorian master spy.
There are still some miniatures for the game to paint, but these are either opponents or allies but no heroes.

Cool, I really like your bright shiney pjs.
Did you swap out one of Vito's pistols or did he have an accident with it at some point?

Those are very nice! First time I think I saw a Hreeda that wasn't sitting at a booth in a noisy cantina...  lol

Wasn't that Greedo? By the way: Han shot first! FACT!

I think he removed the silencer...  lol (the miniature came like that, supposedly the nozzle broke off in packaging process)
