RONIN at BeST Berlin
« on: 21 October 2015, 04:04:23 PM »
A few weeks ago I presented RONIN at our local gaming convention in Berlin and the mostly new players had tons of fun playing either bandits or defending a village of rice farmers with 7 samurai who are willing to fight for a few handful of rice....

The village looks quiet before hell break loose...

A look at the village

The fighting was fast and deadly

Sorry for the picture quality in some cases, I had to make some with my own camera.

Under heavy losses, the samurai won most of the games.
In another scenario a buch of ninjas tried to kill the abbott of the local temple because he interfered too much with the politics of the clan lord. RONIN is really a cool skirmish game and one of my favorite games!

Cheers

Great looking table - you packed a lot of detail into that small space!

Thanks for all the kind words.

The trees are from ebay - cheap Hong Kong trader. Same goes for the bamboo.
Buildings and fences are 4Ground, accessories from Oshiro and PlastCraft Games.
The river and the gaming mat are homemade.

The miniatures are of course Perry and the North Star minis designed for RONIN.

Cheers,
