(wow...I was typing this as he posted the above....cthulhu is watching...
)
Good News: We had 5 players show up and were able to get teams built for all 5 as well as play 5 games.
Bad News: I was so darn busy I forgot to take a single picture!
Just as well I think as we had quite a few figures "proxy" for others because I did not have a good match for the various team designs (and they were quite diverse -- an nun and a firman, a "gun crew", an animal handler with a civ mate to back them up...).
Best news, all five enjoyed the game and I am pretty sure I have at least 2-3 looking for their own figures to kit out next time for the table.
Highlights included Karl winning his threshold game and obtaining enough skills to finally dual wield axes as has planned all along for "Fireman Joe" and a first time player rolling for a "major injury" and lo and behold a good result I had not seen.... They are a "Basket Case"!
I love that "major injury" if only I can be so lucky when I get one!
My 'tag line' before I dive into the basic rules, is to simply explain Uncle Mike's "Terrain Placement Rules" for most of the scenarios. I tell them this bit is quite important to understand the entire game (and it is early so they are listening
)... "Set up Terrain to Mutual Players Satisfaction". Now, I say: "If that confuses or bothers you...you are in the wrong game."
I did have one player today look to me during set up to which I replyed "What, do you want me to do: MAKE you guys be satisfied? Hell, I can't do that for the woman I have been married to for 25 years!!!" End of debate!
Thanks Uncle Mike for the great game,
Scott
PS I got gifted a whooping load of clix to convert today too!

2-Nov Edit: well I know at least 2 really enjoyed the game as they pinged me to remind them again how to order the game/rules. Surely, a successful game session then.
