Wonderful brushwork, mate.

They should compliment Colin's lovely scenery very nicely indeed.

Andy are you doing them as Highland Militia for the British? The Campbells fought on the side of the British Forces. They had men fight at Culloden.

Really great looking models. This is definitely on my todoo list for the weekend.

But I think you have forgotten the blue face paint that scots usually wear to battle... :D

Thanks Keith, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks to everyone who played and made our game soo enjoyable. Each game turned out completely different, with the Scots eventually winning 2 games to 1 against the English.

Here's some of our game pics.

Board set up....

The Scots are trying to defend Castle Lachlan from the English, who are trying to blow it up in retribution for the Maclachlans participation in the battle of Culloden. The Scots start around the base of the castle while the English are split into two, distinct units, the land forces and the  Navy. The Navy, having been on assignment fighting elsewhere, have ran out of cannon balls but still have powder. The English land forces, consisting of a unit of English soldiers and 2 small units of Hessain allies are to secure the area around the castle to allow the Navy to land and set the powder and blow the castle to dust!

The English land forces.

.....and the brave Scots! ;)

In one game the Scots got reinforcements, which turned out to be a herd of highland cattle! lol

Again, many thanks to all who played and made it such an enjoyable game to run!

This was a stunning game. Castle Lachlan had to be seen to fully appreciate its size and quality,  it was an absolutely brilliant piece of work.

This was truly a wonder to behold (unfortunately the timings of games meant I missed the chance to play.... :'(), with Castle Lachlan really taking pride of place on a wonderful board. It really is a wonderful build and finished off to perfection.
