Does anyone know if the 6 figures in the packs being sold by North Star are all the same or is there some variation?

It looks to me that the three figures shown in the infantry packs are the same or am I missing some variations?

Hi Hunlion...

This is the best image of the Russian flag I have found ... It appears to be the same for all units...
I am not sure what the cavalry carried...

All the best  Aly

Amazing sculpts as always from GWM. Really excited about this range as I have always had an interest in the later Russo-Swedish wars contemporary with the Napoleonic period.

I would just be after knowing which units were engaged in the battles of 1788 - 1790 as I have been unable to find this out so far.

All very interesting stuff- I love the more esoteric areas of our hobby and dearly wish that I had time to paint up an army or two from this beautiful looking range- though I do have to admit that I had to look it up before I knew anything about the war! My ignorance shining through I suppose :)

I found a couple of more Russian flag images...

This one appears to have a white field... so possibly a colonels flag...

The symbol on the eagles chest is different from the previous image... I think this was different for each regiment.

I know Lars Rossle of Sword and Sabre Publishing used to have a web site that covered the Russian Army of this period but sadly it appears to have been taken down...  :'(

All the best   Aly

According to Eric Burgess ....( see blog....http://dinofbattle.blogspot.ae/2015/10/balkans-clash-russo-turkish-war-1790.html )...
He got his 15mm flags form Dan Schorr many years ago. I am trying to contact him to see if he still sells them.

Hi Hunlion...

I took a screen grab of the painting...

It is by Pehr Hillestrom....
it is called something like ... King Gustav and the soldier...

I haven't found a better image ...yet!  :)
