Hopefully I'll have everything in a week or two, including some neat scratchbuilt gargants  :D

Cool. I used to have a whole lotta gargants.

Have you thought about putting a wash on your stuff? I think it would enhance your painting a lot. The Army Painter dark acrylic wash would work wonders for your Marines and their tanks.

I used that on my napolenics, too much work: first paint with a dissolvent, then wait like a night for it to dy and afterwards spary the lot with laquer to dim the shine. In fact I just used it to protect the crappy 1/72 plastic from scratches that would rip off the paint.

So the production goes on, this afternoon  painted a deathstrike battery!

There are two types.

The type in the tin can is what you are talking about.

I'm talking about an acrylic water soluble wash that comes in small dropper bottles like Vallejo paint. It's the same look and idea but without the bother of what you say. I did a massive Naps army using the tinned stuff too.

For 6mm the acrylic is amazing. I use it on literally everything.

I think that a friend of mine has it I'll have a try with the deathstrikes.

Last night it was painting time again, this time a battlewagon detachment painted as an homage to Fury Road

Nice mob! The rust effect looks great on them, though I think it looks especially good with the red 'n' yellow flames lot.

The first of a total of five gargants! All of them scratchbuilt of course.
