Show us your constructs.
« on: 10 November 2015, 02:45:43 PM »
I have seen some really neat scratch-built constructs including a totally awesome Pinocchio. I would love to see what you're using for your construct. I was wanting to do something a little Bride of Frankenstein esk, so far I'm thinking about the Kabuki Steamborg.

Those are awesome. The bottom one is my favorite. Are you going to use the four armed puppeteer as your Wizard? I think that could be pretty cool.

Collodi (the four armed puppeteer) will be my apprentice. My Wizard is Zoraida an Old crone who pierces a voodoo doll. The whole concept of my Warband will turn around constructs. She's a cursed gypsy seamstress who is searching the ruins of Felstad for flesh construct to transfer her life essence into to live forever.  Her apprentice is a toy/doll maker ala Geppetto and most of her warband is of Romani/Russian/Dark forest decent.

My plan is to slowly switch the initial warband full of humans for more and more constructs.

I've only added one construct to my Frostgrave games so far. He's converted from 2 Mage Knight Golems, of which I can no longer remember the name of.

While not really for Frostgrave, I did just order this fella in plastic as a type of golem/construct (also from the Malifaux line)

I'll be using the alternate non-pumpkin head.

At the moment the constructs I'm using are from my old skeleton army.

Large constructs:

Old Ral Partha Bone  on the left & Crucible Bone constructs middle & right.

Medium constructs:

GW plastic skeletons, they use to be part of a berserker skeleton unit in my old army.
The middle one is my favorite, he has a flail-tail that you can't quite see in the photo.

Those bone constructs are neat. I've always loved skeletons in fantasy games, and those are quite unique looking.

Here are some constructs I constructed... out of smashed stones. I then cast 1 up and made an alternate standing version. I'm pretty happy with how the sculpt and then paint job turned out. Very fitting for a ruined city construct I think.

Some awesome constructs shown in this thread. I'm surprised we haven't seen any warmachine stuff yet.
