Not looking forward to the task of finding a parking space in that wretched car park though...  ::)

I haven't been for a couple of years, but I can't imagine the car park has changed much. Always rammed by the time I get all the way over there. Still, I'm sure I'll manage...  ;)

Good to see you there Ged, plus other LAF friends  :)
I had a reasonably successful shopping expedition, although unbelievably, out of (allegedly) 70 traders, only two had partial ranges of Vallejo Model Color - and neither of them had Red Leather of Flat Earth, which I really need!
Ah well, back to eBay...

The parking was indeed abysmal as usual. It was also incredibly crowded inside. Couldn't really get to look at half the stuff I might have wanted to buy without getting barged and elbowed... It's always the same at wargames shows, but this seemed worse than usual. Some wargamers really are rude bastards...  ::)

It's an interesting event, Warfare. Basically one hall given over entirely to shopping, and another given over almost entirely to swivel-eyed competitive gamers all pushing two lines of lead towards each other across a sea of green baize and arguing about rules loopholes.
The display and participation games were few indeed, and most of those that were there were deeply uninspiring, played out on cloths or TSS tiles. I only saw two or three truly display-worthy games on show featuring great terrain and figures. The rest - meh.

Ah well... Only five months until Salute ;)

All in all, fine for a shopping trip, but that's about all.
