15mm Pirates - Minifigs and Peter Pig
« on: November 16, 2015, 03:47:13 PM »
In two entries, I added some 40 pics of 15mm pirates - most of the Peter Pig stuff is older and out of production as is all the Minifigs stuff now that I think of it. Still, some great old school models:

Here's some Peter Pig samples:

See all them here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2015/11/15mm-peter-pig-pirates_16.html

From Minifigs:

See all those here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2015/11/15mm-minifigs-pirates-part-2.html

Part 1 of the Minifigs here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2012/01/15mm-minifigs-pirates.html

I haven't decided what rules to use for these but I'm more about land raids than ship to ship combat, though that will be part of it.

"One of My Men Became Restless" focuses on 15mm Horse & Musket periods and 25mm Horse & Musket, Fantasy, Horror and Victorian everything! Occasionally there'll be stuff of related interest but it's mostly a painters blog.  See it all here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/

Very nice! Great figures and excellent paint job. I'd be interested to learn more about your project - especially which rules you'll be using in the end.

Cheers

Might I suggest Mr Pig's own 'Pieces of Eight'?

I'm constantly impressed by the great work some people can do in 15mm, far to small for me, well done.

they look amazing. I would be chuffed with a paint job like that if I was painting 28mm!
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/
And for Ultra-modern Wargaming check out Hotel Zugando at http://ultramoderngaming.blogspot.co.uk/

Thanks all for the kind comments - I love painting up old forgotten figures - I haven't even seen Minifigs pirates outside my home in many, many years.

I've been trying to transition out to Napoleonics but am distracted by another set of pirates tempting me. More to come!

OOP?  I thought the range was going full - perhaps only some redesigns along the way.  But nice work.  Keep it up, though, you need many more, maybe 1,000 or so.  No, I'm not joking.  I have more than that!  Seriously.  Okay, maybe I'm somewhat bent.  But you do have me scratching my head vis-a-vis the OOP comments.
