Cthulhu and his cult of slicks.
« on: 27 November 2015, 04:58:35 PM »
As a work in Progress,

Some Cultists that were once Slicks...

A Reaper 'Star Spawn' that I'm using as an avatar of a Great Old One here on Earth

and his backside

Chief Slick gets whispered orders:

I'm incorporating these fellas into my Monster Hunter International project.

It's a modern setting, and in addition to many refrences to the Great Old ones, includes Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies and modern Paramilitary stuff.  Too many things to just be happy in one Thread topic here at LAF.

I started a project Thread over in THE OTHER ADVENTURES portion, but it just doesn't seem to get much for comments, so instead of cross posting, I've just decided to put the pertinant pictures in the proper slot.

Please check out my BLOG that has more info and such:

Nice paintjobs. The star spatter effect works very well on the trenchcoats.

Excellent painting and great use for the Slicks! And yes, they do fit in very well with Cthulhu.

I absolutely adore the slick coat designs, and the pallette you use on all minis is ace!

Fantastic Monster Hunters International is a great setting for wargaming! What rules are you using?

The minis are from East Riding miniatures.  These were called the slicks.

The Cthulhu is a reaper gem.

I haven't found a good rule set yet...but I'll need something with modern guns and plenty of supernatural goodness!

You should check out a miniature company called Warhansa, they have some minis that would well suitedto your MHI project.

Major thumbs up for that recommendation tomcat!!!

I see several that are now 'must haves' for my project.

I've never heard of them before.  Solid!
