« on: 04 December 2015, 12:44:28 PM »
Last night Mike and played the Genie in a Bottle scenario from the origional Frostgrave book.  The terrian is mine the Genie is Mikes.

Not as bloody as our last battle but still a heck of a fight.

Nice report, sounds like you all had a good time. I love that you named all your soldiers. I'm still working on my force and backstory for them all. I'll post them soon :-)

It helps make them more real to me.  While I love Frostgrave I don't like the fact that Soldiers are so disposable.  I haven't wanted to muck with the rules since they are so good as is but giving them names and a background helps make them more like part of my Wizards team rather than simply being her cannon fodder.

Thats the old version I have to update it due to some casulties.

(I name all my soldiers too.  We're playing with my 6yo son, so the rehire fee seems more like hospital costs.  All the killed soldiers come back with the same names.)
You, sir, are not allowed to attempt a takeover of the solar system until your octopus sobers up.

I suspect that if I am playing with my nephew or Niece in a few years the same rules might apply   :D
