And Harry, I have seen your work (and the astonishing speed at which you accomplish it) and come on man, yours are going to look at least as good as mine, probably better. You do striking colours so well.
Hey ... you need to slow down currently ... you are making me look bad. :D

Haha, really? Well then, allow me to tell the Lead Adventure community that your average daily output over the past years is stellar, compared to mine. I think you have painted more miniatures since the first time I met you online than I ever ever totally owned, so there is no way I could ever make you look bad. Besides, you already have two warbands and an entire table finished, I have 5 models and a couple of rats...

I know, right?  Harry already made a replica of the entire map of Skyrim, so I'm pretty sure he has us all beat as far as output goes.   lol

Silly Harry. In the time I paint one miniature he has another thread up on some Santa Dwarfs. Psht... What a show off!!

Some small time OSL on this mini, but it does the trick.

So did I Harry, so did I.  So what can I tell YOU?

Well, at least I did get another mini done in the meantime. Definitely the easiest to paint ever, but fun nonetheless!

I added a bit of brown and green ink to give it a mossy look, not sure if it shows in the pic... It looks nice, I think. Quick and simple paint job!

Nice painting. I really like the effect you've created with the glow cast from the lantern

Thank you! It is small time, but it does the trick. I also did it with Mordheim miniatures once, which were a little stronger and cooler looking, but those came from a glowing hammer and torch respectively, and those give off way more light.

Anywas, like a Chronomancer I slowed down time and managed to crank out another miniature within the hour.

Quick and dirty, but awesome miniature, fun to paint but also really easy to finish. Gave him a white mark below his head, which you can only barely see on the pic, as to not come off lazy and just paint the eyes and mouth, haha.

Thanks guys!

And what better way to start off the new year than with the big man himself?

Again, I opted for mostly the "official" colour scheme, because I like it and it makes painting easier. I chose to make the sword thing red as per the artwork on the cover of the book though, because I felt it broke up the model just a tad more.

He looks excellent.  Like you say the red helps to break up the colours

Thank you!

Again, mostly the colour scheme as presented by Northstar, bar a few minor details. It makes my life easy painting from an example, and I like the colours, so why not, right?
