Victrix - Numidian Cavalry plastics - renders.
« on: 23 December 2015, 10:21:52 PM »
These were shown on Facebook today, dont seem to have had a mention here yet - thought they looked pretty good.
Personally still to be convinced on computer design for figures, but Victrix keep improving and I'm always partial to Punic Wars.

Finally they managed, yeah!

It took a long time from the first news about Victrix cavalry (Napoleonics) to this render, but I love it!

I am a great fan of their Greeks and Cartagenians and optimistic the cavalry will be just as good  :) :)

These do look good - thanks for the advice.

Will be interested to see how many in a box - 3 to a sprue seems a good idea, question is how many sprues in each pack?   More on this I am sure in the New Year.

Hannibal can never have too many Numidians.

A good start for a Victrix ancient cavalry box.
What I really would like to see is a Later Hellenistic heavy cavalry plastic box, useable for Romans, Carthaginians & Macedonians. The Perry Napoleonic British Light Dragoons show the possible flexibility of a plastic box.

Agreed.  I have been saying that for a long time to whoever will listen but nothing has come of it as far as I know.

And some mounted celtiberians would be a most welcome too.
At the Victrix site they have the renders for the horses too.

The faces and horses look very good. I will be very interested to see the actual sprues. so far Victrix did an amazing job bringing the Punic Wars to the gaming table. These will be very versatile, even for Fantasy with some conversion bits. The horses could be used as a basis for your own Halfling or Goblin knights etc.
