Shinsengumi, what poses would you like to see?
« on: January 05, 2016, 11:14:15 AM »
Do you know, the next release of Bac Ninh Miniatures will be Shinsengumi.
The designs are decided but I would like to know, what poses would you like to see?
Who knows, maybe change my mind... :D

These are the Shinsengumi dollies:

Subtle action poses would be best I think. Like an en-guard pose.

Does that make sense?

I'd say the first one with having one hand on the sword grip, one on the top of the scabbard. Either about to draw or with the blade drawn a few inches.

I second the stand off and ready to draw poses. Too many ranges have the awkward (IMHO) charging "Banzai" katana over the head about to cleave someone in half pose. Yari and revolver would be a bonus. Otherwise I am sharpening the chisel and mixing the greenstuff.

Would it be an option to ship the dollies as they are with head and arm options?

I was wondering the same thing. Love the torsos but need them for something else.
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

If say at least one or two ready to draw sword, a few sword drawn but held in two hands pointed towards enemy and a few mid fight. Would also be cool to see some with sodegarami and jitte. One with a firearm wouldn't go a miss either.

This sounds great

Sorry, this option is not possible.

Thanks for the suggestions, the most of them are in my designs. :)
At the moment all the figures will have katana and maybe one of them has the option of carring a banner.
Possibly, one of the pack will contain historical figures as Kondo Isami, Okita Soji, Hijikata Toshizo and Saito Hajime.

How many packs will you be releasing at once? I am hoping about three packs worth which should be enough to make a skirmish force.
