Arghhhhhhhhh, I had one game ONE GAME I tell you, and I've cracked and ordered the starter set.
What I know about Star Wars you could write on my thumbnail with a three inch wide crayon. But I enjoyed the game much more than I was expecting and now I've gone over to the dark side.
Ah well I'm 55 this year, if I live for another 20 years I should be able to fit in a few more games lol.

Great!
I have an idea to make it more than just a simple dogfight.

I've started making asteroids. Apparently 3d ones get in the way (Boardgamegeek!) but I prefer some volume.

Steve hope you don't mind me asking this here  :)

Regarding Scum & Villany, is it possible to play a casual game where you set those ships against each other? (Ie, without the two main factions). I realise that Most Wanted comes without the damage deck, dice and ruler.

This is becoming more and more like an addiction, and I'm being drawn in - is there a helpline?  :D

I don't see why not. There are a few minor issues that crop up in the original core rules (before Scum) such as the Imperial side automatically getting initiative if both sides are equal on points, but I don't remember seeing this in the Force Awakens rules.

I'm sure one of the experienced X-wing players will be able to give a more detailed answer though.

Of course you can fight scum with scum or rebels with rebels if your opponent agrees. There is no point why not. The initiative can be rolled or determined in any other way if need be. For that matter we rank initiative at equal pilots values in the following order: Imperials (trained military) - Rebels (ex-military, semi professional, mercenaries) - Scum (potentially of the same standard, but with more than a few wannabes...)

'X-Wingers Anonymous' has a very good programme for addicts

Step one is to pack up all your ships and post them to their head office, I'll PM you the address so you can get started . . .   ;) :D
