Introduction

Hello everyone, I found these forums via some pinterest items that were showing pictures of some of the great painted miniatures from these forums and some of the awesome workstations many of you have set up to work on your items. 

I love to look at them, I enjoy getting lots of work area ideas and also seeing what others have made and painted to inspire me to get better at painting them myself.  I would classify myself at a very junior level.

I can't say that I have a favorite, however most of my own personal miniatures are Dungeons and Dragons (medieval fantasy) related.  I'm very interested in wars and history though too, particularly period authentic war related miniatures, and even though I like older periods too, I'm especially fond of WWI and later.

I'll be lurking and looking at all the great content already on the boards, I'm sure it will take me quite some time to get through a lot of it since I only found this site a couple days ago for the first time.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I live in the mid-western United States, close to Madison, Wisconsin and spend a lot of my time in Minnesota and Iowa with family.

Hello there & welcome to the forum. It has been a long time since I was back there in the mid-west, 1978 actually. But the area you are in was a real hotbed for gaming activity. I'm sure it still is. Just keep checking around & I'm sure you will find like minded people to game with.
