I presume, like the Chasseurs, that command will be metal.  I also assume that there will be little more than an added arm with a lance and a head change from the Chasseurs box.....

Hopefully they keep the sword arms in. That way you can do lancers who have discarded the lance, as well as the 1st Chasseurs.

I hope so, it might make them useful as a second rank or for conversion.

Although a standard unit size for a French Lancers Regiment would be 12 in most games, this box allows you to make 13 mounted French Lancers, giving you the choice of fielding them with or without command models.
