Still, it is Christmas, so I might try and find a figure to enter  :D

More than three have signed up, Grimmbo. It's just that some of us are still painting. Worry not, I have a modest little entry, and it is coming along nicely.

You can do it, Gluteus! It's not like it's the Lead Painter's League or anything. Just one little figure. Do a 2mm Father Christmas.

It will be fun! THAT IS AN ORDER!  :)

While it is inappropriate for me to comment on the three entries (since I've seen them and its waaaaay to early to be making any judgements), what I will say is that there are no guarantees in this competition.

In this kind of competition anything can happen, of that, I can guarantee.

You know, there is a feeling one gets when one is in the grandstands watching a match.  There is quite another feeling you get when, regardless of whether you are winning or losing, you are on the pitch battling it out in the mud.

So... get dirty!  You'll like the feeling.   :D

How is it going to be judged, Ray? Forum poll, panel of distinguished luminaries, or as instigator of the project are you going to simply make a decree? (which might present a conflict of interests as you sound like you are entering yourself  :))

I think he said Poll in the other thread. We are a very democratic bunch around here.

Oh, other thread, other thread. I can't keep up. Why are there two threads? Is it just to confuse stupid people like me?  :)

Indeed sir, a poll it tis... which is why God knows who will win...  :o

Ah... this is the "state of the competition" thread.  The other thread is the "anybody interested and here are the rules" thread.  Still to come is the "Ray's Practice Poll thread" and the actual "Vote here for your favorite toy" thread.

Of course, I could also do a thread...  o_o ... ah, forget it.

I'm working on mine.  I have a while to go to get the model in.  I still have to get the greenstuff on it before I can start painting it.

I'm looking forward to this :) (do not take this as any idea that I will do well, I do enjoy painting though.)

Simple by entering you prove you are an high caliber adventurer, a daring do, a dapper gentlemen and, of course it goes without saying, a winner... no matter how many votes you gain.

If you know you your rugby - I'm the prop forward to Orctrader's [etc] fly-half. IE, I can often be effective, but rarely spectacular.  lol

I will search for a suitable figure - a 2mm Santa should be fairly easy  8)

I only enter competitions for fun.

I was thrashed in the last LPL.

My entry might not even be wearing a Santa Hat.   ;)

More entries; more fun.

And we have our fourth entry...

... with a cunningly ingenious mini diorama... gamer Mac!

A very inventive, well executed entry with lots to see.   :o

Hat Tip to gamer Mac, our fourth contestant!

I doubt mine is any good compared to the calibar of the other entrants. But someone has to make up the numbers. It can't be a competition if no one enters. Come on guys don't leave me here alone with all the heavy hitters :'(  please!!!
