Quick game of Danger Close
« on: February 03, 2016, 10:11:05 AM »
We had a quick game of Danger Close yesterday. All of our internet connections collapsed mid afternoon so it brought us to a bit of halt. Therefore only one thing to do. Play a game.

Situation was a fishing village guarded by PLA. The Seals did not have body armour allowance and it was decided that not would the PLA as they were mainly jumping out of bed. No trouser allowance either  :)

Navy Seal frogmen recce a coastal fishing village only to discover some PLA guards. The first sentry was silently dealt with but the second sounded the alarm. Frantic jumping out of bed by the PLA followed.
Action included a Seal throwing a grenade through a window which missed and bounced back on him. Luckily he escaped injury. That could have been embarrassing.

Eventually he succeeded and the two PLA in the hut were killed. Others shot down as they ran out of the huts to defend themselves. Best shot of the game was by a PLA sergeant who woke up ran to the window and aimed and fired at a Seal. Roll of 20 gave an instant kill. Very impressive.
Eventually the PLA ran back into the jungle as they lost over half their men and were in a bad way so it seemed a sensible thing to do. Well that and I also had to cook dinner : (

Anyway here is some pictures of the mayhem. Great fun and a few laughs.

Cheers
Paul

Great photos.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Cool looking set up.  Like the Danger Close rules?

Bought the rules last night.  I hate D20 systems, but I couldn't find any negative reviews, so I will try them out.  Great looking board and minis!
