I have finished my first Sergeant. Not all Classic Space Hulk missions have Sergeants equipped with Power Sword. For those that do I was thinking about how to add the sword to the monopose figure and decided the best solution will be using a sheathed one.

That is pretty darn nice looking!  :-*
Aside from the obvious sword and icon, I like the addition of the shoulder-cam for the sarge.

Just the idea I have in my head for the light-less ones we are trading, and now I know it works :D Great sergeant!

I have finished yet another Marine for classic Space Hulk. This time its Heavy Flamer toting Brother Zael.

Now this one is a bit weird. For some reason I have figures out of the original boxed sets that I own which are not casted correctly. The whole side where the stormbolter is located is kind of crooked.
For that reason the flamer cannot be pushed all the way towards the shoulder pad. Anyways, it will do the job and add another marine to the squad.  ;D

Time for more Space Hulk. In the wake of the return of the Genestealer Cults to the 40k universe, I have started to dig out the unpainted classics that belong to the "Genestealer" expansion of the core game. Using the modern miniature's paintjobs as a guideline, I came up with this bad boy. How do you like him?

I used some Imperial Guards bitz (speaker of a vox-caster and chainsword) and an old Space Marine Boltgun to which I added a shoulder-strap.

Fantastic.

Never really liked the minis, but you've done a great job.

Good update on a bad miniature! Your paint job also makes it! 8) As much as I loved SH, I could never bring myself to like the plastic hybrid models. The purestrain Genestealers are class, not so much their kin!

Lovely stuff, you've done a great job with some old minis!

No. It's the rotary cannon set from Forgeworld's Horus Heresy models, mate. The feed is part of the kit. It takes forever and lots of warm water to carfully bend it to shape in order to fit the backpack and gun in the correct angle.

For future reference - I had a similar ammo belt on another Forgeworld mini, and this is when you use a hairdryer - the piece is so thin it goes floppy in seconds, and can be bent into shape instantly.

As it's not wet, you can use superglue immediately.  Superglue accelerator also really, really helps here - while it's soft, get the piece fixed quickly.

Found just now this inspiring tread: I like both paintjob and conversion ideas. Keep on updating!
