Just a few vehicles ...... Bridge too far finished

Hi gents,

Thought I should post something, had great intentions last year but was so sick during the second half that I couldn't even sit at the bench and was generally cranky because of it. So a few vehicles? Yeah thought I'd run some sort of general catch all thread rather than a bunch of specific ones. Easier for me to update and basically 99% of what I do is just vehicles ....

So for post numero uno we have a bunch of stuff destined for use as a Bolt Action Battlegroup. It's a mix of mostly Warlord with the odd JTFM and Blitzkrieg thrown in. As with all my stuff it's brush painted in mainly acrylics but I must admit I've been using oils to weather recently. All are wips at various stages of completion and I'm hoping to get the project bowled over in the next few weeks or so.

Thanks for the comments guys. And yeah I'll keep adding pics as progress is made. I've got to take a break to slap some glue onto a 1/48th Pershing so it'll be a few days before I get back into these .....

And progress from the bench today. Finished pin washing the last of the vehicles and put a filter down over the 251/7. Also processed the first pics of our Empress Marines. Will do a full post once the other pics are tidied up ....

Great work, I like the way they look similar due to the colour schemes, but you have used lots of different camo patterns.

Are these for a particular theatre (Italy?) as you have only used green camo not red-brown as well?

They'll get Hohenstaufen markings as they're intended primarily for Holland/Arnhem games. The green only was a customer requirement so yeah I had to get fairly creative to make them unique but fit together ... I would have preferred free reign with a tri colour scheme but I'm pretty pleased with how they've worked up after the lining has gone on. They should only get better from here hopefully ....

They're both Warlord but the Quad flak is a kitbash. using the Blitz/2cm Flak kit and the stand-alone Quad Flak. I just fitted the Quad flak to the 2cm base so that it fitted onto the truck bed mountings without any further faffing about req .....
