1/48 Scale Sioux (Pics fixed)
« on: February 19, 2016, 02:31:08 AM »
I have finally started painting 1/48 Plains Indians available from Early War Miniatures. My Mother-in-Law has been asking for some figures so she can show friends what her son-in-law does for fun so I decided one of these great Sioux figures would be ideal. The Early War Miniatures range is great. I love the proportions of these 1/48 miniatures - the horses really do make most of my 28mm look "odd" by comparison. I painted this figure fairly quickly and didn't do much in the way of bead work or face/horse painting, but as a figure for Granny it works. My project plan is "Dances with Wolves II" with the titular Dances with Wolves and his family group evading Pawnee scouts working for the US cavalry under Luther North in the late 1860s while Sioux try to stop the advance of the rail roads. The Early War Miniatures Range has everything needed - Sioux, Pawnee, US Cavalry, Family group and even pony herd and Buffalo for good measure.

Looks like your google album isn't public.

They do have Sioux, Pawnee, Crow and some Cheyenne available along with all the extras. Send Early War Miniatures a note and they can send you a full list of everything that's available. I have got a lot from them - including the Pawnee, Crow etc. I am painting a Pawnee band now.  :)

I think I fixed the picture problem.
